THE INSURANCE CLAIM
The process begins with All Disaster Services assessing the damage and creating a scope of work with your insurance adjuster. Our estimator works closely with your insurance adjuster to make sure they agree on the scope, the pricing of the claim, and to be sure that nothing is missed in the process. By doing this, our estimators assure that your insurance company will cover every detail to restore your property to pre-loss condition.
In the event something is missed or was not discovered during the initial estimation that is part of the damage or loss, All Disaster Services will create a supplemental. All Disaster Services will consult your insurance adjuster and submit this supplemental for the costs to perform the additional repairs.
RESTORATION BEGINS
After the scope or the project is agreed upon, an All Disaster Services representative will review the entire claim with you and you will sign a contract based on, but not limited to, the repairs that have been scoped so that restoration can begin. This contract will also incorporate any alterations made by you, the property owner, to the original scope. You will be given an estimated time of completion for your restoration process. All required permits are then obtained by All Disaster Services.
During the restoration work, All Disaster Services will update you periodically on the progress of the project and meet with you for selections and any and all concerns. Your primary contact person throughout the restoration process will be your All Disaster Services Project Manager, however feel free to contact any of our All Disaster Services management for any questions or assistance at any time.
PAYMENT
Payment generally comes in the form of insurance drafts payable to you, All Disaster Services, and your mortgage company (if needed or required).
MORTGAGE ENDORSEMENTS
Upon notification, All Disaster Services will make any necessary arrangements with your mortgage company concerning inspections, affidavits, endorsements or payment schedules.
ADDITIONAL WORK OR UPGRADES
If you wish to extend the project beyond the original claim, or include any improvements to pre-loss condition, All Disaster Services will be happy to work with you. After all, as long as we're there, we may do whatever else you've been wishing for. Of course, your insurance company will generally not pay for such additions or upgrades.
